Actualmente forma parte de equipos creativos de primer nivel, colaborando con figuras como Antonio Banderas, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Asier Etxeandia, La Toya Jackson, Gloria Trevi, Angelica Vale, Emilio Aragón , Carlos Rivera , Alejandro Gou, Jaime Camill, entre otros. Quienes confían en su visión artística única, contemporánea y altamente narrativa. 

En el ámbito del Teatro Musical, Carmelo ejerce la Dirección Coreográfica en grandes producciones internacionales como ”HNMPL, 20 añps después” “Matilda”, “Godspell”, “Spamalot”, “Grease” y “Joseph and the amazing technicolor Dreamcoat “ para Andrew Lloyd Webber, haciendo una nueva versión de esta mega producción por su 40 aniversario, consolidándose como una referencia dentro del género.

Galardonado recientemente con el premio a “Mejor Coreografia” por “Godspell” en Broadwayworld Spain Awards y por "Matilda" el musical por los ACPT de México. 

Desde 2021, su proyección mediática se amplía notablemente al convertirse en uno de los rostros creativos más reconocidos de la televisión, participando en todas las temporadas de RuPaul’s Drag Race España y en Reinas al Rescate para Atresmedia Televisión, donde desempeña también los roles de director escénico y coreográfico.

En el terreno de la danza contemporánea, Carmelo Segura es considerado uno de los coreógrafos más influyentes y prestigiosos de su generación, apoyado por el Ministerio de Cultura, Teatros del Canal y Comunidad de Madrid entre otras instituciones. Creaciones como Osaka, Hilo de Fuego, Eterno Picasso y 34/35 continúan actualmente en gira internacional, reafirmando su impacto artístico a nivel global.

Carmelo Segura is an internationally acclaimed Choreographer and Artistic Director, recognized for his creative versatility and his ability to move seamlessly across the diverse sectors of the entertainment and cultural industries.

He currently collaborates with leading creative teams and renowned figures such as Antonio Banderas, Andrew Lloyd Webber, La Toya Jackson , Carlos Rivera, Alejandro Gou, Jaime Camill, Asier Etxeandia, Emilio Aragón and Joaquín de Luz, among others. In addition, he serves as Choreographic Director for projects featuring both international and national artists, including Gloria Trevi and Angélica Vale, who place their trust in his distinctive, contemporary, and highly narrative artistic vision.

Since 2021, his media presence has expanded significantly, becoming one of the most recognizable creative figures on Spanish television through his involvement in every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race España and Reinas al Rescate for Atresmedia Televisión, where he also serves as Stage Director and Choreographic Director.

Within the field of musical theatre, Carmelo has led the choreography for major international productions such as Matilda, Godspell, Spamalot, Grease, and a new anniversary production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for Andrew Lloyd Webber, created to celebrate the show's 40th anniversary. These projects have further established him as a leading figure within the genre.

In 2026, Carmelo Segura was recognized for his choreographic work with two major awards in the theater industry in Spain and Mexico: the BroadwayWorld Spain Audience Award for Best Choreography for Godspell, and the ACPT Award for Choreography for Matilda, The Musical.
